配備三瓣踏板的簡單而俐落機體，RPU-3提供真實平台鋼琴踏板踩踏技巧的極致體驗。三個踏板各自配備獨立1/4吋輸出端子，RPU-3相容於Roland的FP-90, FP-60 與RD-2000數位鋼琴。除了提供與平台鋼琴相同的功能，RPU-3也能讓多種樂器使用腳控功能，例如選擇設定記憶或是啟動FP-90的人聲效果器。
