OCTA-CAPTURE Driver Ver.1.5.2 for Windows 8.1 / 8 / 7 / Vista / XP



* Uninstall the old driver before you install the new driver.For details on the uninstallation procedure, refer to the Readme.htm file that was created when you extracted the archive.

* When you use this driver version, the OCTA-CAPTURE system program must be updated to the latest version (Ver.1.5.0 or later).

* Since audio buffer settings are initialized after updating the driver, please setup the audio buffer settings in the driver again.

  • Now available for Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 8.1.
  • Changed the item name "Reduce CPU load" in the Settings dialog box to "Low Latency mode."
    This reduces the load on the CPU when the ASIO buffer size is small, and then it lowers the latency of the ASIO driver.
    * If you cannot play back or record or if the sound is interrupted, clear this check box.
    * If you're using in WDM/KS mode, clear this check box.

When the message about Windows SmartScreen is displayed on installing or executing a software, please perform the following procedures.
  1. Click the [ More info ].
  2. Click the [ Run anyway ].
* If your PC does not be connected to the Internet, Step.1 will be skipped.

* This driver will not work on Windows RT.
Computer
Windows-compatible PC equipped with USB 2.0 port

* Intel chipset recommended.
* QUAD-CAPTURE may not perform to its full specs when used with an added USB 2.0 interface card.
* This product cannot be used with a USB 3.0 port that is not compatible with USB 2.0 specification.
* If this product does not work correctly when connected to a USB 3.0 port, you will need to connect it to a USB 2.0 port.
* Even if connected to a USB 3.0 port, this product will operate as a USB 2.0 device; the performance of the product will not change.
* This driver cannot be used in a virtual Windows environment, such as Windows XP Mode (Virtual Windows XP) or Virtual PC.
* Macintosh computers running Microsoft Windows are not supported.
